Shake It (previously KetoSlim)

Shake It (previously KetoSlim) is a scientifically proven weight loss program developed by respected nutritional company Metagenics.  It assists you in losing fat and maintaining lean muscle mass which is the key to ensuring your metabolism does not slow down and you do not put the weight back  on again. Shake It also corrects nutritional imbalances which  are common, such as chromium, which curbs sugar cravings and essential fatty acids which turn on fat burning.  These are keys to the success of KetoSlim, and ultimately to your weight loss.

Another important feature of Shake It is that it is supervised by a qualified Nutritionist and Herbalist rather than a sales assistant with on-the-job training so that hurdles along the way are dealt with appropriately and other conditions contributing to weight such as low thyroid function and hormonal imbalances can be addressed. What’s more, you are taught healthy eating practices which set you up for long term success. Find out more about Shake It by clicking on the logo.

Hi Liz, Thank you for your help, I am adjusting to the program and would just like to ask for just a few little tips to help keep me motivated on 'those' days when I have cravings.

Hi Theresa,
The program will address the cravings on a physical level but on an emotional level you need to adopt strategies to deal with the cravings. The first step is to identify which emotions cause emotional eating for you (everybody's different) and then think about other ways of dealing with that emotion. Some example are:
1. If you eat when you are bored find something to do, even if you are watching tv find a way to keep your hand busy (eg do your nails)
2. If you eat when you are stressed, it is the perfect time to exercise.
3. If you eat when you are anxious, talk to a friend.
4. If you eat to reward yourself, find another way. Treat yourself by going to the movies, beauty therapist, buy something new you couldn't fit into before.
These are just examples but you get the idea.

It is also worth noting that often when people think they are hungry they are actually thirsty. When you feel hungry, try drinking a glass of water, wait twenty minutes and then decide. You'll often find you have distracted yourself anyway.

Hope this helps.
Liz
